Lisa Nichols

Lisa Nichols is booked for the same reason her own story works: she is a communicator's communicator, and the subject underneath every session is how to say something so that people act on it.

The story is that she was a single mother on public assistance who built Motivating the Masses into a multi-million-dollar personal development company, of which she is founder and chief executive. It is a story she has told to a great many rooms, and the reason it has not worn out is that she uses it as a demonstration rather than a credential: the audience is watching the technique work on them while she explains what it is.

She was a featured teacher in The Secret, the 2006 film that introduced her to a mass audience, and has written or coauthored seven books, including the New York Times bestseller No Matter What and its follow-up Abundance Now, with Becoming Unforgettable due from Simon and Schuster in 2027. Her work has reached, by her company's count, more than eighty-eight million people, and in December 2024 she performed a sold-out one-woman show, When My Soul Speaks, on Broadway.

She has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Today, Dr. Phil, Larry King Live and Talks at Google, among others, which matters for a corporate booking because an audience that has already seen her arrives warm.

The sessions suit sales organizations, leadership teams and any group whose job depends on moving other people, and they are delivered as keynotes and, frequently, as workshops, because the communication material is a skill rather than an idea and a skill has to be practiced in the room. She is a regular booking for women's leadership programs, where the story and the skill land together.
